Welcome to the home of mindless rock'n'roll!

Bellow have grown, from being a more or less exotic being from the beautiful fauna in the deep forests, to an infernal rock band on its own premises in Norway’s capital Oslo. Their common blend of punk, rock and metal seems to be an efficient fusion on stage. It’s not uncommon to compare these rockers to a monster emerging from the depth of a dark and small forest pond. Even though this might sound banal, it’s not as banal as the lyrics commencing forth through the lips of singer Tom Fury. He is sometimes helped vocally by bassist Andy Amore, who steps in when Mr. Fury needs a break to catch his breath and devour alcoholic fluids.

These two lads, together with drummer Fluffy, are what remains of the original line up. Luckily, the threesome has gained two steady guitarist, Ed Go-Go and Joe King. Steady in the chord firing sense, mentally they struggle.

Bellow are well rooted on the dust covered plains of this planet, playing their smoking hot songs so the poles melt, crows crow, ladies dampen and the high pressures on TV enlarge. What can you do, but listen? That would be the only crime you wouldn’t regret. These guys are the best!

Bellow have recorded a 7-track, self-produced e.p. titled Look Out!. They are currently working on a full lenght album titled Drowning, Not Waving

The Bellow Story so far...

A cold, late autumn evening Andy Amore ('97-present) talked to El Grande ('97-'98) at a party about forming a band. Whilst talking, Tom Fury ('97-present), sitting opposite the two, said a happy yes to being a singer, even though he had never been in a band, but he did have a good name: "Bellow"! They now had the bass, guitar and vocals down, but needed a drummer. So one, even later autumn night Fluffy ('97-present) got into a conversation with Tom Fury and revealed that he was indeed a drummer. Bellow was complete and ready to rock.

After doing a few local gigs for 6 months, Bellow recruited Shine ('98-'98) on second guitar. The highlight of that Bellow-run was reach when we got paid to warm up for Norwegian heroes: Vazelina Bilopphøggers. Shortly after Bellow broke up. El Grande moved away, Fluffy got tinnitus, rested for half a year and found a new band.

Then an 8 year long break followed. Tom Fury moved to the U.K. to study, got a guitar and started penning songs as Cubicle Man. Shortly after he joined forces with foreign and local talent in London and formed Thembee Nice Shirts. After 6 years in the U.K. Tom Fury moved back to Norway. As promised, Andy Amore had not started a new band, but waited for him. They were ready to reform Bellow! Fluffy agreed, and Drop-Out Molund was hired in as an axe-wielder. A short, but productive stint followed. Bellow wrote songs in a furious tempo, and soon they had enough to play live!

Shortly after, all members agreed to pack in a few more punches, plus give Tom Fury a guitar-break now and again, and recruited Ed Go-Go (brother of Andy Amore) on yet another guitar! The sound was gonna be thick and heavy...... IT IS!

Bellow have been in the studio twice. And in that time they've cut 7 tracks that made it onto the "Look Out!" e.p. They've been part of 272 Records' compilation; Punk Kills vol.5, been aired on the radio and featured in a 'cultural guide to Oslo' book "Lysløypa". Gigs have been played, merchandise sold and Bellow are now looking to record an album.

After eminent guitarist Drop-Out Molund quit summer 2009, Bellow went into hibernation, but not for long! In autumn, they changed rehearsal room and recruited another eminent guitarist in Mr. Joe King! Things are improving and new music is being created at a ferocious speed...
